When Few Brahman organisation related people were protesting at Mohan Babu's residence in film nagar on Wednesday night, mohan babu's rowdies attacked the Brahmin agitators with lathi's and pipes, some of them injured. The injured were hospitalized immediately.
A group of 40 brahman protestors belonging to various Brahmin communities gathered near mohan babu's residence, raising slogans against him for insulting Brahmin community in Manchu Vishnu's Denikaina Ready movie. Mohan Babu is the producer for the movie. Then a group of men armed with wooden sticks and some metal rods attacked the unarmed protestors in full view of the TV cameras even as the policemen stood there choosing to be mere spectators. It went on for about 15 minutes.
After this incident Vishnu Manchu said that the people who attacked the brahmins were not rowdies. The actor added that the protesters threwed stones at our residence and damaged widows and broke the door.At the time of incident my mother and sister were the only ones at home and they were under attack. So our security guards along with workers from our shop and some union members of the Film Chambers joined in to rein in the situation," said Vishnu.
We need to wait for some more time where this issue ends.
